UN Women is actively working with partners on the ground to provide life-saving essential items that will help women, girls and their families to weather this crisis, as well as to rebuild their lives for the future. There is an immediate and urgent need for emergency items like period products, warm clothes, cooking stoves, baby food, nappies and soap. We're also providing support services with our local partners for women and girls who have been through trauma and lost their connections to essential services.
