Take action this International Women's Month

On 10th March 2021, we released a report revealing the prevalence of sexual harassment across the UK – only 3% of 18-24 year-olds had told us they weren’t being harassed. This data was made up of personal stories, and it was shared so many times that it reached over 1 Billion people online.

Thousands of fathers, partners, leaders and allies reached out asking how they could help make our public spaces safer, and people everywhere took to the streets demanding change. In the past year, you have helped UN Women UK’s small team shape a national conversation, and your commitment has already started making change at music festivals, with taxi companies, and in online spaces.

Are you with us?

We’re empowering men and boys across the UK to combat sexual harassment and violence in public spaces, because research has shown that behavioural change is the most effective way to prevent violence. We’ve created a Safe Spaces Now pack for male allies, which will give you the tools, merchandise and support to help prevent violence and sexual harassment today. You’ll also get an exclusive invitation to our augmented reality pop-up event, where you can try our immersive experience practising being an active bystander.

Show your support by adding your name below, and we’ll send you your pack.
