Female Genital Mutilation: making a difference

Guest speaker: Dr Comfort Momoh MBE
We are delighted that Comfort Momoh, FGM and Public Health Specialist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, will be the guest speaker at this UN Women UKNC London brunch event. She will be giving us an update on her work and recent success in raising awareness of FGM.
Comfort will illustrate her talk with extracts from the award-winning 2004 film Moolaade made by the Sengalese writer and director Ousmane Sembene.
Refreshments will be available from 10.30am and the event will start at 10.45am sharp.
Our brunches are open to UN Women UKNC members and their guests and are free of charge, but please book in advance.
